RAWANG, 16 June 2017 – Takaful Ikhlas Berhad (Takaful IKHLAS), a wholly owned subsidiary of MNRB Holdings Berhad (MNRB) in cooperation with ADABI and Komuniti Cuci Masjid, work together today in preparing and distributing bubur lambuk to the people residing around Masjid Kampung Gombak, Kuang, Rawang, and Masjid Jamek Al-Hikmah, Kg Setia, Rawang with the aim to foster closer ties with the local community and providing aid to those in need.
More than 1,000 packs of bubur lambuk was distributed by Hj. Wan Rosli Shaharuddin Wan Yaacob, Chief Commercial Officer - Family, Takaful Ikhlas Berhad together with Azatul Izan Mohamed Nordin, Marketing Manager, Adabi Consumer Industries Sdn Bhd, Malaysia as a meal for fast-breaking. The event was also attended by the Chairman of Komuniti Cuci Masjid, Hj Hashnoel Murshim who also distributed the porridge.
Cooking and distributing bubur lambuk is one of the activities under the Ramadan program “Jom ke Masjid” which is organized under the brand of IKHLAS untuk Komuniti. The program consists of cooking and distributing bubur lambuk, mosque renovation, iftar (fast-breaking) and moreh ceremony, as well as giving money gift to the asnaf (zakat recipient) children. Meanwhile, the activity of cleaning the mosques was done during Ramadan.
During the program, Takaful IKHLAS also conducted talks related to wasiat (will), hibah (gift) and wakaf (alm) at Masjid Kampung Gombak, Kuang, Rawang and Masjid Jamek Al-Hikmah, Kg Setia Rawang. The talks are a part of the effort made by Takaful IKHLAS to create the understanding and educate the community regarding the importance of wealth management based on Shariah law. Besides fostering closer ties between Takaful IKHLAS and the residents in the surrounding areas of the mosques, the program is able to enliven the celebration of Ramadan, which has now entered its 21st day.

Takaful IKHLAS always ensures that our CSR activities being conducted are sustainable and meaningful for the benefits of the community in the country, which has alredy helped a lot in the growth of Takaful IKHLAS.
BUBUR LAMBUK ADABI IN CONJUNCTION WITH RAMADAN 2017
The concept of bubur lambuk program has been conducted every year as previously done. This is an annual event organized by Adabi throughout Ramadan in cooperation with selected corporate bodies.
As for this year, Adabi takes the opportunity to cooperate with Takaful Ikhlas Berhad. The bubur lambuk program is a smart move as it maintains the branding of Adabi among the community as well as amongst Adabi loyal consumers.
The bubur lambuk was prepared using hundred percent of ingredients and products from Adabi. A total of three stockpots of bubur lambuk is cooked which produced more than 1000 packs of porridge for distribution. In addition to the bubur lambuk cooking program, Adabi also contribute food supplies to asnaf children' houses.
Overall, the program provided a good impact to both parties between Adabi and Takaful IKHLAS, hence is able to attract the community particularly the young generation in learning how to prepare bubur lambuk and apreciate our local delicacies.
