Kuala Lumpur, 23 May 2012 – Takaful Ikhlas Sdn Bhd (Takaful IKHLAS), Malaysia’s Takaful operator company, organizes an English Language seminar as a preparation for the students who will be sitting for Penilaian Menengah Rendah (PMR) and Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examinations.

The two-day seminar which was held at Takaful IKHLAS Headquarters in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, is one of the programs under the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives under the name ‘IKHLAS untuk Komuniti’.

A total of 60 Form 3 and Form 5 students from SMK Sri Pantai, Kg. Kerinchi were invited to participate in the program which was conducted by Applied Scholastics Institute.

According to Takaful IKHLAS Senior Vice President, Corporate Services Department, Puan Yushida Husin, , “We are in the view that the responsibility to nurture our young generation to develop a competitive human capital does not just lies on the hand of certain parties, but it is everyone’s responsibility.”

She shares further, “Through the collaboration between our Corporate Communication Department and Akademi IKHLAS, we strive to take Takaful IKHLAS closer to the hearts of community members as an attentive financial institution in helping to educate our future generation.”

Takaful IKHLAS had organized similar program last year and willing to make it as an annual program considering that the responses received so far has been overwhelming.
