According to SL Information System managing general manager Jimmy Lim, Takaful Ikhlas also requires upgraded software to support its business' fastincreasing storage requirements, and sufficient processing power within its production server.
"To achieve maximum efficiency and costsTakaful Ikhlas has reshuffled use of existing equipment, whereby the current production server will now be used as a data retention (DR) server and the older DR server will be used as user acceptance testing (UAT) server," Lim said.

"The systems enable Takaful Ikhlas to manage current applications and services at less cost with technology breakthroughs in virtualisation, provide energy savings, cost-efficient use of memory and performance at a better price."
