What does IKHLAS Workmen Compensation Takaful Cover?
IKHLAS WORKMEN’S COMPENSATION
TAKAFUL indemnifies the Participant in respect of
his legal liability:-
| 1. |
To pay compensation under Workmen's Compensation
Ordinance to all employees who are 'workmen' in
respect of death or injuries due to accidents or
occupational diseases arising out of and in the course
of employment. |
| 2. |
Under Common Law - if a workman chooses to seek
compensation at court instead of using the Workmen's
Compensation Ordinance, the Company's liability under
Common Law is subject to a minimum limit of RM1,000,000.00. |
Exclusions
| 1. |
War and kindred risks. |
| 2 |
Liability to employees of contractors to the
participant. |
| 3. |
Any employee who is not a 'workman' within
the meaning of the ordinance. |
| 4. |
Any contractual liability. |
| 5. |
Any sum which the participant would have been
entitled to recover from any party but for an agreement
between the Participant and such party. |
| 6. |
Any liability for radioactivity contamination
or nuclear weapons material. |
