Introduction

IKHLAS PLATE GLASS TAKAFUL covers breakage (which does not include damage by scratching) of any items of glass specifically described (including any writing or ornamentation thereon, if included). It pays or makes good the intrinsic value of the glass, plus the cost of any necessary boarding up pending its replacement.

What IKHLAS Plate Glass Takaful cover?

a) Replacement of the glass in the premises and specified in the schedule as a result of the breakage of the glass
b) Cost of any necessary boarding up pending replacement.

EXCLUSIONS

a) Breakage due to Fire, Earthquake, War, Strike, Riot & Civil Commotion.
b) Breakage arising during removal or alteration to premises
c) Any misdescription of the glass
d) Damage to frames or framework of any description
