Introduction

Employees who are not covered by SOCSO Scheme have a right to sue their employers under common law compensation should they become injured or fatally injured in an accident whilst in the course of employment. When employers are found negligent in that their actions contributed to the accident, they can be liable to pay for damages.

What does IKHLAS Employers Liability Plan covers?

IKHLAS EMPOYERS LIABILITY TAKAFUL covers the following:

a) To indemnify the participant (employer) when held to pay damages.
b) To pay legal defence costs incurred when defending claims

EXCLUSIONS

a) War exclusions, rebellion, revolution
b) Participant’s liability to employees of contractors or sub contractors
c) Injury sustaining outside geographical area
