What does IKHLAS Comprehensive Perils Plan cover?
IKHLAS COMPREHENSIVE PERILS TAKAFUL covers loss,
damage or destruction to the property against any
accident, fire, theft or other misfortune not specifically
excluded.
Property such as office equipment, personal computers
and electronic equipment on hire purchase or leased
may be covered under this section.
Exclusions
a) |
Losses which are inevitable i.e. bound to happen
whether there is a loss or not e.g. wear and tear,
depreciation, vermin moth, scratching and denting. |
b) |
Losses in connection with any process of cleaning,
dyeing or repairing. |
c) |
Losses due to mechanical or electrical derangement. |
d) |
Breakage of brittle articles, watches unless caused
by fire or thieves. |
e) |
Any consequential loss i.e. loss of use/income
as a result of the property covered being damage. |
f) |
Documents of value - shares, bonds, money coins,
stamps, antiques, work of art, sculpture and curios. |
Property Which Can Be Covered Under An All Risks
Takaful
a) |
Office equipment, furniture, fixtures & fittings
e.g. typewriters, fax machines, telex machines, air
conditioners, table and chairs |
b) |
Household goods and personal effects |
c) |
Mobile phones |
Note:
Machinery & Equipment (other than office equipment
in a commercial & industrial risk) are to be covered
under the IKHLAS Machinery and Equipment Takaful
unless the Financial Institution insists in having
an IKHLAS COMPREHENSIVE PERILS TAKAFUL.
We do not cover stock in trade under an IKHLAS COMPREHENSIVE
PERILS TAKAFUL Policy. For coverage on stock in trade, participant is required to take an
IKHLAS Burglary Takaful and IKHLAS Fire Takaful or
an IKHLAS COMPREHENSIVE PERILS TAKAFUL limited to
fire & related perils and theft. |
