Introduction

IKHLAS ACCIDENTAL DEATH TAKAFUL RIDER is a Takaful Rider Plan, which can only be attached to a Basic Plan. This plan provides protection against death, total and permanent disability (TPD) or partial and permanent disability (PPD) due to accidental causes of the participant within the term of the policy. This is an Individual Level Takaful cover for protection purposes.

What does IKHLAS Accidental Death Takaful Cover ?

IKHLAS ACCIDENTAL DEATH TAKAFUL RIDER covers the following :-

ACCIDENTAL DEATH BENEFIT
In the event of accidental death of the participant within the term of the policy, the Sum Cover (SC) plus the balance in the participant’s Personal Risk Investment Account (PRIA) will be payable to the participant’s beneficiary or next of kin.

ACCIDENTAL TPD BENEFIT
In the event of accidental total and permanent disablement of the participant within the term of the policy, the SC plus the balance in the PRIA will be payable to the participant.

ACCIDENTAL PPD BENEFIT
In the event of accidental partial and permanent disablement of the participant within the term of the policy, the SC plus the balance in the PRIA will be payable to the participant’s beneficiary or next of kin. Payment of the SC is as per the Schedule of Indemnity.

MATURITY BENEFITS
Upon maturity of the certificate, you will receive a lump sum payment from the investment income and accumulated amount from the Personal Investment Account and net surplus from Ta’awuni Account Pool from the Risk Fund.

Why IKHLAS Accidental Death Takaful?

You can choose the amount of coverage up to five (5) times the Basic Plan Coverage.

Takaful IKHLAS MODEL
• The Takaful IKHLAS Model allows the Company to optimize investment return to the participants.
• Upon expiry, the outstanding contributions inclusive of return will be distributed accordingly to participants.
