Incorporated in 1972, MNRB Holdings Berhad (MNRB), formerly known as Malaysian National Reinsurance Berhad, is an investment holding company with subsidiaries involved in the reinsurance and insurance business. Listed on the Main Board of the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, MNRB Group recorded a RM836 million turnover for the financial year ended 31 March, 2007. MNRB's Group shareholders' fund has increased to RM808 million during the same period with total assets worth over RM1.96 billion. The major shareholder of MNRB is Permodalan Nasional Berhad, through Skim Amanah Saham Bumiputera.
